This 28 day sojourn
commences with a train journey from Cape Town to the
majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Between the two
destinations is an adventure which includes 4 nights
of luxurious accommodation on the train with interesting
off-train excursions. After a two night stay in The
Victoria Falls Hotel a three hour flight takes you
to Zanzibar for a one night stop-over in this tropical
island paradise. Thereafter travel by air to the world
famous Ngorongoro Crater followed by a ‘tented
camp’ two night stay in the Serengeti –
a truly African experience. Next we fly to Entebbe
in Uganda for a two night stay on the shores of Lake
Victoria, or you might choose the optional excursion
to Rwanda to view the gorillas. Then it’s on
to the largest country in Africa, the Sudan. The convergence
of the White and Blue Nile is visible from the windows
of your ultra modern hotel in the heart of Khartoum.Your
journey deep into the deserts of Africa continues
as we fly to Abu Simbel and visit the Temple of Ramses
II and his wife Nefertari. Here a relaxing three
night cruise on Lake Nasser awaits you. Visit the
temples of Amada and Derr as well as the tomb of Penout.
Enjoy excursions to Wadi El Sebou and the temples
of Dakka, Maharakka and Kalabsha with a morning visit
to Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi.
Then it’s on to Luxor for 2 nights to experience
ancient Egypt in all its splendour as you visit temples,
quarries and the Valley of Kings and Queens. Rejoin
the aircraft for the last leg to Cairo where your
28 day adventure ends as you tour the Pyramids, Sphinx
and the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities from the exquisite
Four Seasons First Residence Hotel.This journey departs
